Becky was a wonderful colleague, supervisor, and friend. I could always trust that she would be honest and supportive in any circumstance (whether work-related or personal) and I always knew she would have my back whenever I was dealing with something or someone difficult. She never failed to make me laugh with her dry sense of humor, which usually came out at least once during our weekly calls. Even when I told her I was considering leaving GMU to take another position, she was nothing but gracious and supportive about it – and she made me the most delicious chocolate cake for my going away celebration! I will think of her often and remember what a kind and steady person she was. I will miss her very much.
